The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of chief justices of the high courts of Rajasthan, Tripura, Jharkhand and Madras. The decision was taken at a meeting of the collegium, headed by Chief Justice BR Gavai, on May 26.
They are;
- Justice Mohan Shrivastava (PHC: Chhattisgarh), Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
- Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh (PHC: Jharkhand), Chief Justice of Tripura High Court has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
- Justice MS Ramachandra Rao (PHC: Telangana), Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.
- Justice KR Shriram (PHC: Bombay), Chief Justice of Madras High Court has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.
