The Supreme Court Collegium on Wednesday (03.04.2024) recommended appointing five Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court as Permanent Judges of that High Court.
They are;
- Justice Cheppudira Monnappa Poonacha
- Justice Anil Bheemsen Katti
- Justice Chandrashekhar Mrutyunjaya Joshi
- Justice Umesh Manjunathbhai Adiga
- Justice Talked Girigowda Shivashankare Gowda
Further, SC Collegium also recommends appointment of Justice Gurusiddaiah Basavaraja as an Additional Judge of Karnataka High Court for a fresh term of one year.
