Satyendra Prakash (IIS:1988) has been appointed as new Principal Director General of the Press Information Bureau (PIB). Prakash replaces Jaideep Bhatnagar (IIS:1986), who superannuated on July 29. Presently, he was serving as Principal Director General of Bureau of Outreach and Communication (BOC) with additional charge of Press Registrar, Registrar of Newspapers of India (RNI), New Delhi.
