Senior diplomat Sanjay Rana (IFS:1996) was on Wednesday (18.09.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Morocco. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador of India to Bulgaria since February 2021 and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Sanjay Rana (IFS: 1996), presently Ambassador of India to Bulgaria, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Morocco.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
