Central govt appoints CPOs for six aspirational districts

The central government on Tuesday (17.09.2024) announced the appointment of Central Prabhari Officers (CPOs) for 6 districts under the Aspirational District Programme.

Newly appointed CPOs for 6 districts are as follows:

1. Gulzar N (IAS:1999:AP), Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, has been appointed as CPO of
   Alluri Sitharamaraju, Andhra Pradesh.
2. Niraj Kumar Bansod (IAS:2008:CG), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as CPO of Korba, Chhattisgarh.
3. Nand Kumarum (IAS:2008:MP), CEO, National Egovernment Division (NEGD), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, has been appointed as CPO of Narayanpur.
4. Anand Kumar Jha (IFoS:1992:AP), Joint Secretary, M/o Cooperation, has been appointed as CPO of Godda, Jharkhand.
5. Puma Chandra Kishan (IAS:2005:RJ), Joint Secretary, D/o Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, has been appointed as CPO of oraput, Odisha.
6. Rajesh Agarwal (IAS:1994:MN), Additional Secretary, D/o Commerce, has been appointed as CPO of Chandel, Manipur.
