Sanjay Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager of SJVN Limited, has been appointed to the post of Director (Projects), NHPC Limited. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (22.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Power to appoint Sanjay Kumar Singh to the post for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 28.02.2024. or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) interviewed 12 candidates for the position on 12 March, 2024 and recommended Sanjay Kumar Singh’s name to Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for the post of Director (Projects), NHPC Limited.
