The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has appointed Sanjay Kumar Mishra (IRS:1984) full-fledged Director of Enforcement Directorate. He was, on 26 October, appointed Principal Special Director and had declared him interim Chief of ED vice Karnal Singh (IPS:1984:UT) for a period of three months. Later, the Govt empanelled him to hold Additional Secretary rank post. Prior to this Mishra served as Chief Commissioner Income Tax (New Delhi)
