Former Union Commerce Secretary Ms. Rita Teaotia (Rtd.IAS:1981:GJ) has been appointed as Chairperson, Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FASSAI) for a term of three years. In this regard an order was issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
