Retired IAS officer Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1990:BH), who superannuated on June 30, 2026 as Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, is learnt to be under consideration for a key post-retirement assignment.
According to sources, Kumar’s name is under consideration for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog. Sources further indicated that he is also being considered for a senior assignment in the Bihar Chief Minister’s Office, either as Principal Secretary or Advisor to the Chief Minister.
Kumar has held several important assignments in both the Government of India and the Bihar Government during his distinguished administrative career.
