Haryana Government has appointed Ram Niwas, (Retd.IAS:1985:HY) as chairperson, State Police Complaint Authority for a period of three years. The State Police Complaints Authority had been lying defunct for the past five years.
The State Police Complaints Authority, a statutory body constituted in Haryana to look into complaints of serious misconduct by police personnel.
