The deputation tenure of Rajnish Kumar Rai (IPS:1992:GJ) as Inspector General (IG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (06.10.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Rai for a further period of one year beyond 07.10.2022 (total tenure of 9 years).
