Corporate Affairs Secretary Rajesh Verma (IAS:1987:OR) has been appointed as Secretary to President Droupadi Murmu. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (18.08.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Verma to the post in place of Kapil Dev Tripathi (Retd.IAS:1980:AM).
Tripathi was in April 2020 appointed as Secretary to then President Ram Nath Kovind.
