Rajasthan : Four IPS officers promoted to DG rank

The Rajasthan government on Friday promoted four senior IPS officers of 1988 batch to the rank of Director General.

1. B L Soni, ADG (Crime), has been promoted to the post of Director General (Crime).
2. Utkal Ranjan Sahoo, ADG ( Planning, Modernization and Welfare) has been promoted to the post of Director General (Planning, Modernization and Welfare).
3. K Narshimha Rao, ADG (Reorganisation and Rules) has been promoted to the post of Director General (Reorganisation and Rules).
4. Pankaj Kumar Singh, ADG, BSF, has been given proforma promotion.
