The Punjab police on Wednesday ordered posting of senior IPS officer R N Dhoke (IPS:1993:PB) as additional director general of police, coordination, in New Delhi.
According to official statement, the decision was taken to ensure better coordination between Punjab Police and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), other central police organisations and departments.
Dhoke currently holds the post of additional director general of police, security, in Chandigarh.
