R K Tyagi has been appointed as Director (Operations), Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.08.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Power to appoint Tyagi to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his retirement i.e. 31.03.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
