Punjab : 04 IAS officers transferred, Anurag Agarwal is new ACS, Home

The Punjab government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of 04 IAS officers in the state. Anurag Agarwal (IAS:1990:PB) has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary Home Affairs and Justice in place of Satish Chandra(IAS:1985:PB), who is set to hang up his boots on September 30.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Anirudh Tewari (IAS:1990:PB) : ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Development and in addition ACS, Food Processing and in addition ACS, Horticulture and in addition ACS, Governance Reforms & Public Grivances.
  2. Anurag Agrawal (IAS:1990:PB) : ACS, Power and in addition, New & Renewable Energy Sources in addition Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd and in addition ACS, Home Affairs & Justice.
  3. Rahul Bhandari (IAS:1997:PB) : Secretary, Higher Education & Languages and in addition Resident Commissioner (Investment Promotion & Industrial Liaison), Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi and in addition Secretary, Water Resources and Mission Director, Directorate of Ground Water Management (Department of Water Resources).
  4. Rahul Tiwari (IAS:2000:PB) : Secretary, Employment Generation & Training and in addition Mission Director, Punjab Skill Development Mission and in addition Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, Roopnagar and in addition Nodal Officer, Anti Drug Abuse Campaign (Department of Home) and in addition Secretary, Home Affairs and in addition Secretary, Science Technology & Environment and Mission Director, Tandrust Punjab.
