Prakash Magdum (IIS:1999), Additional Director General (ADG), Press Information Bureau (PIB) & Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ahmedabad, has been appointed as Managing Director (MD), National Film Development Corporation (NDFC), for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (17.04.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to appoint Mr Magdum to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
