PESB recommends Amol Babulal Taori as Director (Finance) of POWERGRID

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Amol Babulal Taori for appointment as Director (Finance) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID). The recommendation was made following interviews conducted on April 23, 2026.

Taori is currently serving as Executive Director (International Trade) at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). His name will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval, subject to vigilance clearance and other prescribed formalities.

The post of Director (Finance) will fall vacant on July 1, 2026, following the superannuation of incumbent G Ravisankar on June 30, 2026.
