The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Bharat Electronics Limited (BHEL) at a selection meeting held on July 08, 2021. The PESB interviewed three candidates for the job following which it announced that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of action for selection including search cum selection committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent Authority.
The following 03 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :
- Vinay Kumar Katyal, Director (Bangalore Complex), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL)
- Manoj Kumar, Executive Director, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL)
- Jaideep Gupta, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, Indian Railways Service of Electrical Engineering
