Kerala : 35 IAS officers transferred

The Kerala government on Wednesday (07.07.2021) carried out a major reshuffle in the top bureaucracy of the state with over 30 IAS officers transferred and appointed in various departments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Asha Thomas (IAS:1988:KL) : Additional Chief Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare (Medical Eduaction) Department including Kerala University of Health Sciences.
  2. Teeka Ram Meena (IAS:1988:KL) : Additional Chief Secretary, Planning & Economic Affairs Department with additional charge of Member Secretary, Kerala State Planning Board.
  3. Dr. V Venu (IAS:1990:KL) : Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism Department.
  4. Sarada Muraleedharan (IAS:1990:KL) : Additional Chief Secretary, Local Self Government (Urban & Rural).
  5. Bishwanath Sinha (IAS:1992:KL) : Principal Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Programme Implementation and Monitoring Department and Principal Secretary, Urban-Waste to Energy Programme to Local Self Government Department.
  6. Rajesh Kumar Sinha (IAS:1994:KL) : Principal Secretary, Forest and Wild Life Department with additional charge of Industries (Coir) Department.
  7. Rani George (IAS:1996:KL) : Principal Secretary, Cultural Affairs Department with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Social Justice Department and Women & Child Development Department.
  8. Sharmila Mary Joseph (IAS:1997:KL) : Secretary, Taxes Department with additional charges of Sports and Youth Affairs Department and Ayush Department.
  9. Tinku Biswal (IAS:1997:KL) : Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department with additional charge of Secretary, Ports Department.
  10. Anand Singh (IAS:2000:KL) : Secretary, PWD with additional charges of Project Director, Kerala State Transport Project and Special Officer, Capital Region Development Project.
  11. Sanjay M Kaul (IAS:2001:KL) : Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala & Secretary, Election Department with additional charges of Secretary Finance (Expenditure) Department and Chairman & Managing Director, Kerala Financial Corporation.
  12. Saurabh Jain (IAS:2002:KL) : Secretary, Local Self Government (Urban) Department with additional charge of Secretary, Taxes (Excise), Department.
