The outgoing Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy (IAS:1986:OR) has been appointed as Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council (WODC). He will be the first non-political person to hold the crucial post of WODC chairperson.
A K Tripathy will also be the Principal Advisor to Chief Minister on Regional Development, Tourism, Agribusiness and Industry.
