The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find a suitable candidate for the post of Director (Finance), Western Coalfields Ltd. at a selection meeting held on June 27, 2022. The PESB interviewed seven candidates for the job following which it announced that the ministry might choose an appropriate course of action for selection including the search cum selection committee (SCSC).
The following 07 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :
- Mahendra Kumar Baluka, General Manager, Western Coalfields Ltd.
- Rajendra Singh, General Manager, Central Coalfields Ltd.
- Sushil Kumar Sinha, Deputy General Manager, Central Coalfields Ltd.
- Darla Sunil Kumar, Chief Manager, Western Coalfields Ltd.
- Shyam Sunder, Chief Manager, Eastern Coalfields Limited
- Binay Kant Sinha, Chief Manager, Central Coalfields Ltd.
- Mohit Malpani, Chief General Manager, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL)
