NHAI chairman Deepak Kumar (IAS:1984:IAS) has been repatriated to his cadre Bihar today before completion of his tenure. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the premature repatriation of Kumar.
His repatriation has come at a time when Chief Secretary of Bihar Anjani Kumar Singh (IAS:1981:BH) retiring this month. His three month service extension is going to end on 1st June.If sources are to be believed, Deepak Kumar is tipped to be the Chief Secretary of Bihar.
