MP reassigns 11 DIG, AIG officers at Police HQ

The Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) carried out a reshuffle of senior police officers at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Bhopal, reassigning responsibilities among 11 IPS officers at the level of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and Assistant Inspector General (AIG).

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Awadhesh Goswami (IPS:2009:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred as DIG (Welfare/Accounts), PHQ, Bhopal.
2. Prashant Khare (IPS:2009:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred as DIG, CID, PHQ, Bhopal.
3. Manish Agrawal (IPS:2009:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred as DIG (Training), PHQ, Bhopal.
4. Kiranlata Kerketta (IPS:2010:MP), DIG (Women Security), PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG (Grievances), PHQ, Bhopal.
5. Manoj Kumar Rai (IPS:2010:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG (Selection and Recruitment), PHQ, Bhopal.
6. Riyaz Iqbal (IPS:2011:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG (Administration), PHQ, Bhopal.
7. Rahul Kumar Lodha (IPS:2011:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG (STF), PHQ, Bhopal.
8. Simala Prasad (IPS:2011:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG (Women Security), PHQ, Bhopal.
9. Shivdayal (IPS:2012:MP), DIG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DIG, SAF, PHQ, Bhopal.
10. Manish Khatri (IPS:2016:MP), Assistant IG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Assistant IG, CID, PHQ, Bhopal.
