Modi govt effects major Additional Secretary level reshuffle, Nitishwar Kumar, PS to J&K LG shifted to Delhi

The Modi government effected a significant bureaucratic reshuffle Sunday, appointing nine additional secretary-level officers in multiple ministries and departments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. L Satya Srinivas (IRS-C&IT:1991) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, NATGRID, Ministry of Home Affairs.
2. Rajendra Kumar (IAS:1992:TN) has been appointed as Director General, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour & Employment in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is serving Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
3. Ashish Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP) has been appointed as Adviser (AS level), Inter-State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
4. Jaideep Kumar Mishra (ICAS:1993) has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. He replaces, Ashish Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP). Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
5. Ms. V Radha (IAS:1994:MH) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog. Presently, she is serving as Additional Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
6. Ms. Ranjana Chopra (IAS:1994:OR) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Culture. Presently, he is posted in the Cadre.
7. Nitishwar Kumar (IAS:1996:UP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Women and Child Development. Presently, he is on Inter Cadre deputation to Jammu and Kashmir cadre.
8. T Natarajan (IAS:1996:GJ), awaiting posting, has been appointed as Additional Secretary Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
9. Ms. V Hekali Zhimomi (IAS:1996:UP), Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, has been appointed (in-situ) as Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
