Who will be successor of Kerala DGP Loknath Behera ? It is going to be clear in coming few days as the incumbent is set to retire on June 30, 2021. The State government had forwarded a list of 12 Senior IPS officers to be considered as the next police chief to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Now Sources say that UPSC has prepared a final list of three senior police officer which includes the names of IPS officers B Sandhya (IPS:1988:KL), Anil Kant (IAS:1988:KL) and Sudesh Kumar (IPS:1987:KL).
Presently, B Sandhya is posted as ADGP, Fire and Rescue Services Department. ADGP Anil Kant is Road Safety Commissioner. Sudesh Kumar is DGP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau.
