Karnataka: 4 IAS officers shifted; Uma Mahadevan posted as ACS-cum-Development Commissioner

The Karnataka government on Wednesday (31.07.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for four IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Uma Mahadevan (IAS:1992:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (Panchayat Raj), Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner, Bengaluru with concurrent charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Bengaluru.
2. Anjum Parwez (IAS:1994:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru is placed in the concurrent charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (Panchayat Raj), Bengaluru.
3. Ramesh DS (IAS:2010:KN), Director, Horticulture Department, Bengaluru is placed in the concurrent charge of post of Regional Commissioner, Mysuru Division.
4. Dr. Arundhathi Chandrashekar (IAS:2012:KN), Commissioner of Panchayath Raj, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Director, Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (ANSSIRD), Mysuru.
