The Union government on Wednesday (September 15, 2025) notified the appointment of Justice Soumen Sen, Judge of the Calcutta High Court, to perform the duties of the office of Chief Justice of the High Court. He will assume charge following the superannuation of Chief Justice T. S. Sivagnanam on September 15, 2025.
