Justice M Rafiq named as Chief Justice of Orissa HC

The Union Government on Thursday issued the transfer order of Justice Mohammad Rafiq, the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.

Notably, the Orissa High Court has been functioning under acting Chief Justice Sanju Panda after the retirement of Justice KS Jhaveri since January 5, 2020.
