The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of Justice Biswajit Palit, presently serving as an Additional Judge, as a Permanent Judge of the Tripura High Court.
The Collegium gave its approval during a meeting held on September 15, 2025. Justice Palit’s elevation comes as part of the Collegium’s ongoing exercise to fill permanent vacancies across High Courts and ensure smoother judicial functioning.
