A Jharkhand cadre IPS officer and his wife returning from Italy on March 13, reportedly skipped the mandatory 14 day quarantine period at the Delhi Airport. The couple was later traced to a hotel in Patna and put into quarantine at the Patna Medical College Hospital.
The officer however defended himself saying that their quarantine was not required since they didn’t show any symptoms of coronavirus.
