IPS officer Uma laterally shifted to BPR&D as Deputy Director

Uma (IPS:2007:KL), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), National Investigation Agency (NIA), has been laterally shifted to Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) as Deputy Director. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (27.06.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Uma as Deputy Director, BPR&D on a lateral shift basis from the date of joining the post and up to 26.11.2024 i.e. her balance deputation tenure or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
