IAS officer Mannan Akhtar (IAS:2011:UP) has been appointed as Commissioner (LD) (Director level) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Delhi, for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (24.03.2025), Mr. Akhtar will serve in the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
