The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday (15.04.2025) approved the empanelment of Chinmay P Gotmare (IAS: 2009: AM) for holding Joint Secretary or equivalent positions in the Government of India. Gotmare is currently serving as Director in the Department of Expenditure, a role he assumed in April 2024 following his appointment announcement on March 28, 2024.
This development follows the ACC’s empanelment of 19 officers from various services and batches on April 14 for Joint Secretary-level posts across the central government.
