New Delhi: IAS officer Chandrasekar S (IAS:2014:KL), Private Secretary to the Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre, Kerala.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Monday (August 10, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for his premature repatriation to the parent cadre, with the imposition of the condition of “extended cooling-off.”
Chandrasekar has been serving as Private Secretary to the Vice President of India in the Vice President’s Secretariat since September 2025.
Prior to this, he was serving as Deputy Director at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) since February 28, 2024. His appointment was made for a period of four years and his tenure was due to end on February 28, 2028.
The proposal for his premature repatriation was made by the Government of Kerala through a letter dated June 18, 2026.
