After the Air India, BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd), CONCOR (Container Corporation of India), and SCI (Shipping Corporation of India) the government has decided to bring 24 more PSUs under the ambit of disinvestment. The Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur said in parliament that the government will sell majority stakes in the PSUs and hand over their management control to a strategic player.
