Govt appoints 10 Executive Directors in 8 Public Sector Banks

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Saturday (19.11.2022) approved ten appointments of Executive Directors at Public Sector Banks, the government said in a release. All appointments are likely to come into effect from the date of assumption of office.

1. Lalit Tyagi has been appointed as the Executive Director of Bank of Baroda for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda.
2. Binod Kumar has been appointed as the Executive Director of Punjab National Bank for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank.
3. Ashok Chandra has been appointed as the Executive Director of Canara Bank for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Union Bank of India.
4. Ramasubramanian has been appointed as the Executive Director of Union Bank of India for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Canara Bank.
5. Mahesh Kumar Bajaj has been appointed as the Executive Director of Indian Bank with effect from the date of assumption of office and up to the date of his attaining the age of superannuation (i.e. 30.06.2025).
6. M Paramasivam has been appointed as the Executive Director of Punjab National Bank for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Canara Bank.
7. Subart Kumar has been appointed as the Executive Director of Bank of India for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda.
8. Malladi Venkat Murali Krishna has been appointed as the Executive Director of Central Bank of India for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda.
9. Rajendra Kumar Saboo has been appointed as the Executive Director of UCO Bank for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank.
10. Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliyar has been appointed as the Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank for a period of three years. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda.
