The Modi government, on Friday, appointed eleven IAS officers and an IPS officer to the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) at the level of Director and Deputy Secretary.
Those officers who was made DCO/DCR under the Union Home Ministry are;
- Dr. Vishwanath (IAS:2010:WB) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), West Bengal for a period of three years.
- Narayan Konwar (IAS:2010:AM) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Assam for a period of three years.
- Sohail (IAS:2007:BH) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Bihar for a period of three years.
- Vijay Kumar Siddappa Bhavikatti (IAS:2011:HY) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Karnataka for a period of three years.
- Vimmi Sachdeva Raman (IPS:2003:UK) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Director level), Uttarakhand for a period of three years.
- Rajat Kumar (IAS:2005:CG) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Director level), Chhattisgarh for a period of three years.
- Sanwar Mal Verma (IAS:2007:RJ) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Rajasthan for a period of three years.
- P.S. Reddy (IAS:2003:AGMUT) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Director level), Goa for a period upto May 31, 2022.
- Ajay Garg (IAS:2010:AGMUT) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Delhi for a period of three years.
- Prasanna Ramaswamy G. (IAS:2010:JK) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Deputy Secretary level), Jammu & Kashmir for a period of three years.
- Prafulla Chandra Pradhan (IAS:2005:OR) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Director level), Odisha for a period upto July 31, 2021.
- K. Ilambarithi (IAS:2005:TG) has been appointed as DCO/DCR (Director level), Telengana for a period of three years.
