Senior diplomat Dr. Anupam Ray (IFS:1994) has been appointed as the next Ambassador/PR of India to the UN Conference on Disarmament, Geneva. Ray is currently serving as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
Ray will succeed Pankaj Sharma (IFS:1991). Sharma has been appointed as India’s next Ambassador of Mexico.
