Ashish Kundra (IAS:1996:AGMUT), who currently serves as the Principal Secretary-cum-Commissioner for Transport with an additional charge of the Principal Secretary for Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC), has been additionally entrusted with the role of Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor. He will succeed Chandra Bhushan Kumar (IAS:1995:AGMUT) in this capacity.
It is worth noting that Chandra Bhushan Kumar, the former incumbent, was relieved from his position a couple of days ago (on 16 January). He has taken on a new assignment as the Additional Secretary and Mission Director for the Jal Jeevan Mission within the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
