The central deputation tenure of D Thara (IAS:1995:GJ) as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoH&UA) has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (25.11.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved to extend the deputation tenure of Ms Thara beyond 05.12.2024 for a period upto 28.07.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The ACC also approved to extend the temporary upgradation of the post of Director to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of H&UA, presently held by Ms Thara, for a period of one year beyond 05.12.2024 i.e. up to 05.12.2025.
