The Chandigarh Administration on Saturday (10.02.2024) announced the additional responsibility of Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board, to UT Adviser Rajeev Verma (IAS:1992:AGMUT). This assignment is in addition to his existing duties. Simultaneously, IAS officer Nitin Kumar Yadav (IAS: 2000: HY) has been relieved from the charge.
It is noteworthy that Rajeev Verma was appointed as the Advisor to UT Administrator on January 29 and officially assumed the responsibilities of the position on February 7. This recent development reflects the administration’s decision to entrust him with the additional charge of Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board.
