Chandigarh: UT administration assigns additional charges to two IAS officers

The Chandigarh UT administration on Monday (08.05.2024) assigned additional charges of other departments to two IAS officers.

They are;

1. Ajay Chagti (IAS:2010:AGMUT) has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Excise & Taxation relieving Dr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade (IAS:2002:PB) of the charge. Previously, he held the charges of Secretary, Personnel, Housing Allotment Committee, Medical Education & Research, Health and Hospitality with additional charge of CEO, CHB.
2. Rupesh Kumar (IAS:2019:AGMUT) has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Excise & Taxation relieving Vinay Pratap Singh (IAS:2011:HY). Prior to this, he held the charge of Secretary, Agriculture and Markrting Board with additional charges of Special Secretary, House Allotment Committee and Secretary, Transposrt Authority.
