CBIC: Three IRS (C&IT) officers promoted to Commissioner grade

In a significant development, three officers from the Indian Revenue Service (C&IT) have been elevated to the rank of Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

The officers who have earned promotion are:

1. Shailendra Kumar Sinha (IRS-C&IT:1991) has been empanelled and promoted to Commissioner grade against the panel year 2013-14 on a regular basis.
2. Rajendra Singh (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been empanelled and promoted to Commissioner grade against the panel year 2014-15 on a regular basis.
3. Rajiv Kumar Agarwal (IRS-C&IT) has been empanelled and promoted to Commissioner grade against the panel year 2017-18 on a regular basis.
