The Modi government on Friday (05.08.2022) given a one-year extension in service to Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba (IAS:1982:JH). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (05.08.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in service to Gauba as Cabinet Secretary for a further period of one-year beyond August 30, 2022.
Gauba, former Union Home Secretary, was in 2019 appointed to the country’s top bureaucratic post for two years. He was given a one-year extension in August last year.
