C I Acharya has been appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (08.06.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Acharya to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. 31.03.2021 or until further orders. Presently, Acharya is serving as Chief General Manager, Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL).
