Surendra Mehra (IFS:1999:UP) was on Wednesday (26.10.2021) given additional charge of the post of CVO, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been given additional charge of the post for a period up to 04.02.2024 from the date of assumption of charge of post or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. Presently, he is CVO, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).
