The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Thursday (23.09.2021) approved the appointment of Brig DK Singh as Inspector General (HQ). Presently, he is serving as the Additional Officer, Delhi Area. According to an order issued by Personnel Ministry, he has been appointed to the post on the deputation basis for a period of 18 months from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till their retirement on attaining the age of superannuation from the Indian Army, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
The ACC also approved the appointment of Brig Vikas Lakhera as Inspector General (North) in the Assam Rifles. He has been appointed to the post on a deputation basis for a period of 18 months from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till their retirement on attaining the age of superannuation from the Indian Army, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
