ACC clears appointment of 06 CVOs in Various PSUs

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet on Tuesday (22.03.2022) cleared the appointment of a number of officers as Chief Vigilance Officer in the various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

They are ;

  1. Amit Saran (IRSME:1995) has been appointed as CVO, Oil India Ltd., Noida for a period up to 09.10.2024.
  2. Rohit Rajiv Pascal Kujur (IOFS:2002) has been appointed as CVO in Uranium Corporation of India Ltd., Jaduguda for an initial period of three years.
  3. Jagdish Khima Rathod (CPES:2002) has been appointed as CVO in Deendayal Port Trust (DPT), Kandla for an initial period of three years.
  4. Akhilesh Kumar Jha (IPS:2003:JH) has been appointed as CVO in Bridge & Roof Company (India) Ltd. (BRCIL) for an initial period of three years.
  5. Padmanabhachar K (IOFS:2008) has been appointed as CVO in New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT), Mangaluru for an initial period of three years.
  6. Mahesh Deoram Akhade (IRS-IT:2002) has been appointed as CVO in Goa Shipyard Ltd. (GSL), Goa for initial period of three years.

MHA appoints seven IPS officers to Deputy Director level posts in SVPNPA

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (21.03.2022) notified the appointments of five SP-level IPS officers to Deputy Director level posts in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). They have been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and up to the tenure mention against each and until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The names of the officers are as follows;

  1. Meghana Yadav (IPS:2007:AGMUT) for a tenure up to 18.09.2024.
  2. Seju P Kuruvilla (IPS:2007:AGMUT) for a tenure up to 18.09.2024.
  3. Dr. Rohini Katoch Sepat (IPS:2008:KN) for a tenure up to 04.05.2026.
  4. Dr. Ram Niwas Sepat (IPS:2008:KN) for a tenure up to 04.05.2026.
  5. Ms. S Ajeetha Begum (IPS:2008:KL) for a tenure up to 11.02.2023.

Further, the competent authority approved the appointment of two Assistant Director level IPS officers to Deputy Director level posts in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). They have been appointed from the date of assumption of charge of the posts and up to their respective approved tenure or until clear vacancy arises in the grade of Deputy Director in SVPNPA.

The names of the officers are as follows;

  1. Dr. Sateesh Bino (IPS:2008:KL)
  2. Aditya Goenka (IPS:2008:KL)

MHA appoints two IPS officers to DIG level posts in CISF

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (21.03.2022) notified the appointments of two SP-level IPS officers to DIG level posts in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). They have been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and up to the tenure mention against each and until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The names of the officers are as follows;

  1. Mamta Rahul (IPS:2007:RJ) for a tenure up to 26.01.2026.
  2. Rahul Jain (IPS:2008:RJ) for a tenure up to 24.01.2026.

Simardeep Singh appointed as DIG, NSG

Simardeep Singh (IPS:2007:HY) has been appointed to the post of DIG in the National Security Guard (NSG). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (21.03.2022), the Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Singh to the post by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer to level-13A of pay matrix (DIG level) for the remaining period of his approved tenure in NSG or until a vacancy arises at the level of DIG in NSG, whichever is earlier. At present, he is serving as Group Commander, NSG.

OFB’s CVO Subrat Das will continue as CVO GRSE

Ordnance Factory Board’s CVO Subrat Das (IPoS:1991) will continue to hold additional charge of the post of CVO, Garden Reach Shipbuilding & Engineers Ltd (GRSE), Kolkata. According to an order issued on Monday (21.03.2022) by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he will continue to hold additional charge of the post for a period or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is earliest.

D P Harichandan appointed as Part-time non-official Director on the Board of Canara Bank

The Central Government on Monday (21.03.2022) appointed Dibakar Prasad Harichandan as a part-time non-official Director on the Board of Canara Bank. According to an official notification issued by the Department of Financial Services (DFS) under the Ministry of Finance, Harichandan has been nominated for the post for a period of three years from the date of notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sunil Kumar Meena appointed as DIG, NHRC

Sunil Kumar Meena (IPS:2007:UK) has been appointed to the post of DIG in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (21.03.2022), the Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Meena to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and up to 30.01.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. At present, he is serving as SSP, NHRC.
