The Union government on Thursday (24.03.2022) notified the appointment of Judicial Officer Umesh Chandra Sharma as an Additional Judge of Allahabad High Court with effect from the date of he assumes charge of his office, till 31.12.2023.
Two Additional Judges appointed to Madras High Court
The Union Government on Thursday (24.03.2022) notified the appointment of two Additional Judges to the Madras High Court for a period of two years.
They are ;
- Nidumolu Mala
- S Sounthar
The Supreme Court Collegium had, in its meeting dated 16th February, 2022, approved the proposal for elevating six Advocates as Judges in the Madras, including the names of Advocates Nidumolu Mala and S Sounthar.

Two Additional Judges appointed to Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court
The Union Government on Thursday (24.03.2024) notified the appointment of two Additional Judges to the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court for a period of two years.
They are ;
- Rahul Bharti
- Ms. Moksha Khajuria Kazmi

Two Advocates appointed as Patna HC Judges
The Union government on Thursday (24.03.2022) notified the appointment to two Advocates as Judges of Patna High Court.
They are ;
- Rajiv Roy
- Harish Kumar
Supreme Court Collegium had recommended elevation of Kumar in its meeting held on 8th February, 2022. Roy’s name was recommended in a meeting held on 1st February, 2022.

Two Judicial Officers appointed as Delhi HC Judges
The Union government on Friday (24.03.2022) notified the appointment to two Judicial Officers as Judges of Delhi High Court.
They are ;
- Smt. Poonam A Bamba
- Ms. Swarana Kanta Sharma
The Supreme Court Collegium had, in its meeting dated 1st February, 2022, approved the proposal for elevating six Judicial Officers as Judges in the Delhi High Court, including the names of Judicial Officers Poonam A Bamba and Swarana Kanta Sharma.

Out of the six names, four Judges had already taken oath as Judges of the Delhi High Court last month.

Ten new Judges take oath of office at Telangana HC
The Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Justice Satish Chandra Sharma administered the oath of office to newly appointed Judges on Thursday in First Court Hall.
Justice Kasoju Surender, Justice Surepalli Nanda, Justice Mummaneni Sudheer Kumar, Justice Juvvadi Sridevi, Justice Nathcaraju Shravan Kumar Venkat, Justice Gunnu Anupa Chakravarthy, Justice Maturi Girija Priyadasini, Justice Sambasivarao Naidu, Justice Anugu Santhosh Reddy and Justice Deveraju Nagarjun, who have been appointed as judges of High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad respectively took charges after their oath.
With the newly appointed judges, the strength of the judges raises to 29. Originally the sanctioned strength of the High Court is 42.
Delhi: Seven IPS/DANIPS officers get new postings
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on March 22 effected a minor reshuffle in Delhi police by transferring as many as seven police officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Gaurav Sharma (IPS:2009:AGMUT): DCP, 1st Battalion, DAP with additional charge of 4th Battalion, DAP.
- Manoj C (IPS:2011:AGMUT): DCP, South-West District.
- Hareesh H P (DANIPS:2003): Addl. DCP-I, Outer District.
- Ms. Divya D (IPS:2017:AGMUT): Additional DCP-II, West Delhi.
- Akshat Kaushal (IPS:2018:AGMUT): Additional DCP-II, Central Delhi.
- Achin Garg (IPS:2018:AGMUT): Additional DCP-II, East Delhi.
- Mayank Bansal (DANIPS:2012): Additional DCP-II, North-West Delhi.
J&K administration announces induction training for 10 IPS officers
The Jammu and Kashmir’s administration has announced to send 10 IPS officers on deputation for undergoing an induction training course at Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPC) in Hyderabad.

According to a notification issued by the additional chief secretary, RK Goyal, these IPS officers will be deputed to undergo 43rd IPS induction Training Course scheduled to be held from April 4, 2022, to May 13 in Hyderabad.
BHEL appoints Upinder Singh Matharu as Director (Power)
State-owned engineering firm BHEL on Tuesday said it has appointed Upinder Singh Matharu its Director (Power). Matharu has assumed the charge at the company.
“On his appointment as Director on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Upinder Singh Matharu, 58, has assumed charge as Director (Power) of the Public Sector Engineering and Manufacturing Enterprise,” a company statement said.
Before this, Matharu was heading BHEL’s Power Sector Eastern Region as Executive Director.
Dr. Anesh Kumar Sharma appointed as Director (Technical), ECIL
Dr. Anesh Kumar Sharma was on Tuesday (22.03.2022) appointed to the post of Director (Technical), Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Sharma to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Prior to this assignment, he was serving as Scientist-G, RCI (DRDO), Hyderabad.
